I have yet to try the cars myself, but maybe some day
The team is testing in Spain right now - here's a vid from the last test ( edited by me of course ): www.perfection-racing.dk -> Press "Se video fra Perfection Racings træning i Spanien"
Mine (the Chevrolet one ) isn't that impressive... Trackday was with my old 1991 Ford Sierra 2.0i.. And my job at the Chevrolet team is mostly graphic designs.. In 2006 I did some datalogging for another team.. So you might have saved yourself the 15th place, Jakg
Send her to me, my room needs some cleaning? Oh yeah, I'm hungry too!
Seriously, make her call a friend or something. Seems to work everytime - she'll be occupied for hours on the phone, and you might get some time to race
I am - kinda - good at it, I actually run my own business doing websites..
Unfortunately, I'm very busy doing websites for my customers at the moment, but if it isn't much work, I might be able to help out..
www.spider-web.dk -> References under "Referencer" Also www.perfection-racing.dk ( Danish Touringcar Championship team racing Chevrolet WTCC cars ), which is under construction.
Nice idea! I guess I would go for something discreet too.
Idea for the future: There are more and more "official" national communities - what about cooperating with them to make a small amount of shirts with i.e. www.liveforspeed.se underneath the LFS logo? Then you might be able to sell some more...
A new year has arrived, and it's time to take on a new challenge! The Liveforspeed.dk LX4 Challenge is 5 races from 22nd of January to the 19th of March.
All European LFS-racers are welcome to join, 19 slots are available when signup starts on Friday the 5th of January. Signup deadline is 19th of January at midnight CET.
If a driver is unable to show up for a race, another driver can take his place. The "reserve" driver will not score points for the original driver.
If there are more than 19 sign-ups, a list of reserves will be made. Reserves will be asked to fill in if a driver can't show up for the race.
Race format: Qualification: Superpole. One car will be send out for a warmup-lap and a fast lap. When he/she begins the fast lap, next car will be send out on it's warmup-lap. After finishing the fast lap, racers must spectate.
Chatting is allowed in qualification.
Racetime: Approximately 45 minutes, calculated from the LX4 WR on the particular track. Final race of the season will be for 90 minutes, also calculated from the LX4 WR.
Race Rules:
Please do NOT sign up for this league if your internet connection causes you to lag regularly, as it often ruins the race for other drivers.
Drive clean and fair. Be aware of and obey yellow and blue flags.
Two wheels must always be on the track ( asphalt and/or curbs counts as track ).
Resetting is not allowed. If there is an accident and the car lands on the roof, race is over.
Driver may then spectate or leave the server.
No Chatting during race. Chatting during qual session is OK.
Pitting is allowed. Shift+S is not allowed, and will result in a disqualification from the race.
If server breaks down while racing, following guidelines counts:
Re-connect to server to check if you are the only one who disconnected.
If you are the only one who disconnected, please log off again, as it will count as a DNF.
If more than 50% of the field is disconnected, race will restart in 5-10 minutes. Wait for an admin to take action.
Note: There will NOT be made any official posts on lfsforum.net about the disconnect - you alone are responsible for checking the server and see if you can rejoin.
West-Vleteren? No, don't think so? Where is it made?
A couple of years ago, my dad showed me this little weird "café" in the middle of Bruxelles. It's hidden inside some kind of tunnel, with no windows or anything. The beer is poured from a clay-can into clay-mugs... Tastes wonderfully. Of course, I can't remember the name, but it's very special.
Flippy, why would you drink british/irish/scottish/whateverish beer when you are from Belgium, the home of beer? I go on vacation to Belgium just to taste as many of your beers as possible - oh well, and see Spa-Francorchamps, some caves and such.. But beer!
The problem occurs on my school computer too, so I guess it's not a local problem ( except if you mean "where the server is"-local )..
Very annoying, as I browse through that forum often to check if there would be an interesting event for my team to join
BTW: Wont bother downloading the burnt cat before they manage to support all features offered by IE. Being a webdesigner, I spend some time swearing of the missing features of Firefox ( And no, I definately do NOT want to start a flamewar about this - just saying how I think it is )
